Lenovo-owned Moto has officially launched the Moto C Plus in India today at a price of Rs 6,999. The Moto C Plus will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting June 20, 12 PM. This new smartphone has replaced the popular Moto E series and now represents the budget series from Motorola.
The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core Cortex-A53 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded via a separate microSD slot. It is a dual SIM smartphone with two dedicated slots.
In terms of camera specifications, the Moto C Plus sports an 8-megapixel primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12-micron pixels, autofocus, 71-degree field of view and a LED flash. There’s also a 2-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone runs Android Nougat OS.
The USP of the Moto C Plus is its beefy 4,000mAh battery, which is much larger than the 2,350mAh battery housed inside its sibling Moto C.Other connectivity options on the Moto C Plus include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM and 3G connectivity.
Moto C and Moto C Plus were introduced last month in America, Asia Pacific and Europe. Moto C Plus will be available in Metallic Cherry, Pearl White, Fine Gold, and Starry Black colour options.
