Gaming PC Build On a budget of Rs. 70000 in 2018

Gaming PC Build

Ultimate Configuration for Gaming PC Build.

We all know that the cost of building a gaming PC is much higher than a gaming console. But still PC gamers build their Rig as per their need and this is the best part of building a gaming PC because you can build your own system and customize your gaming PC as per your need or as per your budget.

Building a gaming PC can be so difficult starting from choosing the processor to the power supply. You might also end up with compatibility issue. But I have picked the best combination to make a well-balanced price to performance gaming PC.

If your Budget is around Rs. 65000 – Rs. 70000 then you can also build this Gaming PC.

Now, let’s talk about the components I’m Using in this Gaming build.

  1. The Processor.

In this build, I’m using the latest coffee lake processor from Intel which is the 8th Gen CPU the “Core i5-8400”.

The Core i5-8400 is a sweet spot for budget Gaming and Video editing. It comes with 6 cores and 6 threads and it has the base frequency of 2.8 GHz and Max Frequency up to 4.0 GHz. The Intel Core i5-8400 will Cost you around Rs. 16,000 from Amazon India.

  2. The Motherboard.

Now in this coffee lake PC Build you can use any “B360” Motherboard. And if you are in a very tight budget then you can go with the “MSI B360M Pro-VD” motherboard which cost you around Rs. 7,000 from Amazon India.

But if you want more features in your motherboard such as 4 DIMM Slots or more M.2 Slots then can go with the “ASUS Prime B360-Plus” Motherboard which cost you around Rs. 10,500 from Amazon India.

  3. The Graphics Card.

In this Gaming PC Build, I would like to use “Galax GeForce GTX 1060 OC 6GB 192-bit GDDR5”. It is Factory Overclocked Graphics Card, you can play games at 1080p with highest settings and you can easily get around 70-80 fps and in some games, you can even get 100 or more fps easily with GTX 1060 6GB Graphics Card which will cost you around Rs. 24,000 from Amazon India.

But if you don’t want to spend too much money on a Graphics card but still want to enjoy 1080p gaming then you can go with “Zotac GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB OC Edition 128-bit GDDR5”. Well, you can still play some games on the highest setting and can get 50-60 fps but in some games, you can get 80 fps with GTX 1050Ti 4GB Graphics Card.

The GTX 1050Ti 4GB Graphics Card will cost you around Rs. 14,600 from Amazon India. The problem with GTX 1050Ti is you can’t play every game on its highest setting, you may decrease the settings to medium or low in some games. In short, the GTX 1060 6GB is a future-proof Graphics card and the GTX 1050Ti is not a future-proof Graphics card. You can use GTX 1060 6GB for next 3-4 years from now (from 2018) but in case of GTX 1050Ti, you can use for only 1 year or maybe 2 years from now (from 2018).

  4. RAM.

This is 2018 and in today’s date, 8GB of RAM is a Minimum requirement for any PC build.

And for our gaming PC build also, 8GB of RAM is enough. You can buy an 8GB RAM stick for your PC build but I’m using “Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR4 RAM”. This RAM will cost you around Rs. 6,200 from Amazon India.

You can use 16GB of RAM in your gaming PC build if you have the budget for 16GB of RAM. But in my opinion, the 8GB of RAM is enough.

    RAM

  5. Storage.

I’m using two types of storage in this gaming PC build.

    I. SSD for faster boot time and faster loading time of software and games.
I’m using “Kingston 240GB SSD” which will cost around Rs. 3,800 from Amazon India.
You can use “Kingston 120GB SSD” which will cost around Rs. 2,200 from Amazon India.
In my opinion, you should go with 240GB SSD because more storage is always better.

    SSD

II. HDD for storing personal data such as the document, movies, and music.
I’m using “WD 1TB (Blue) HDD” which will cost around Rs. 3,500 from Amazon India. 1TB storage is the minimum in today’s date. HDD

  6. Power Supply.

Most of the people ignore the power supply unit and buy some cheap power supply unit for their PC build.

In my opinion, the Power Supply Unit is the heart of our PC’s. For this gaming PC build, I’ll be using “Corsair VS550 550-Watt Power Supply”. This power supply will cost around Rs. 3,400 from Amazon India.

  7. Cabinet.

And now finally let’s talk about the cabinet. Frankly, you can use any Mid-tower Case in your Gaming PC build. You can buy any Case as per your budget, but make sure the case you are using is well ventilated.

You are going to game on this machine so obviously, it will get warm every time that’s why the good amount of air is required in the case. So choose the case which is well ventilated.

FINALE WORDS.

Now, if you want to use Galax GeForce GTX 1060 OC 6GB Graphics Card in your Gaming PC build and 8GB of RAM is enough for your build then the total cost of this Gaming PC build is Rs. 63,900(I’m not including the cost of the Case here). But if you want 16GB of RAM in your PC build then it will cost around Rs. 70,100(cost of the Case not included).

And, if you are using Zotac GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB OC Edition Graphics Card in your Gaming PC build with 8GB of RAM then it will cost around Rs. 54,500(cost of the Case not included). But if you want to use 16GB of RAM with Zotac GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB then it will cost around Rs. 60,700(cost of the Case not included).
